System Based on GDM.TDC for Hot Rolling
The GDM network card in a computer becomes very unstable after prolonged use, often requiring more than ten restarts to function properly. The number of points collected by one card is also limited, making it expensive. 58.1 CPU551 scheme 1
Add one set of PDA high-speed data acquisition and analysis system to each area, as shown in Figure 1. (1) The original PDA system based on GDM had limited collection points and remained unchanged. (2) The newly added PDA system adopts Ethernet communication method, and each CPU of TDC sends the data to be collected to the PDAServer through the CTV-P function block using UDP protocol. (3) Add one set of PDA system with 10000 points in the rough rolling area. (4) Add one set of PDA system with 10000 points in the precision rolling area. (5) Add one set of PDA system with 10000 points to the roll up area. (6) Three new PDA systems have been added, with slightly higher costs, but the high-frequency Ethernet data flow in each area is limited to the local network. (7) This PDA system has a high cost performance ratio, using multiple solutions, and the cost increase is not significant. (8) Any computer connected to L1 Ethernet can perform online and offline data analysis. Figure 1 Scheme for adding 1 new PDA system in each area 58.2 CPU551 scheme 2
A total of one PDA high-speed data acquisition and analysis system will be added to the three zones, as shown in Figure 2. (1) The original PDA system based on GDM had limited collection points and remained unchanged. (2) The newly added PDA system adopts Ethernet communication method, and each CPU of TDC sends the data to be collected to the PDAServer through the CTV-P function block using UDP protocol. (3) Install one set of PDA system with 30000 points in the roughing area, finishing area, and coiling area. (4) Using one PDA system, the cost is slightly lower, but the high-frequency Ethernet data streams in each area need to pass through the L1 central switch, resulting in a higher amount of high-frequency data streams in the backbone network. Add one set of PDA high-speed data acquisition and analysis system to each area, as shown in Figure 3. Due to the Profinet network port on CPU 555, high-speed communication with PDA can be achieved through Profinet and UDP protocols. If the network port needs to be isolated, it can be connected one-to-one with the PDA server network port. Other schemes are the same as CPU 551 Scheme 1.
